Gems Cut & Set In-House

Gems Set in Handcrafted Sterling Silver

There has always been an aspect of jewelry that didn't make sense to me. The majority of jewelry items are too dainty for my taste. This is probably because when I think of gems, I'm visualizing the crown jewels. I'm thinking big! I'm sure this is due in no small part to the fact that I'm a Gem Cutter.

If I'm going to take the time to cut a raw stone and turn it into a masterpiece, I want it to be large enough to see and enjoy.

I have invested sixty to a hundred hours making this gem as close to perfect as possible. I want you to be able to see it and enjoy it. I don't cut gems to typical jewelry store stones.

Did You Know?

I have personally examined $60,000 jewelry with gems that have unpolished, un-faceted girdles.

The girdle is the relatively thin, horizontal area, entirely surrounding the gem, between the crown (above) and the pavilion (below).
